A bar manager in hospitality is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a bar within a hotel, resort, restaurant, or other hospitality establishment. Their duties include managing bar staff, scheduling shifts, ordering and maintaining inventory of beverages and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and handling customer inquiries and complaints. They also develop drink menus, create specialty cocktails, and ensure that the bar area is clean and well-organized. The goal of a bar manager is to provide exceptional service, create a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, and ensure the financial success of the bar.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in similar role.
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
  • Can start immediately.
  • Has a successful track record in managing resort & retreat, new business development and generating revenue for the resort.
  • Has the ability to think creatively in order to develop targeted, customer-focused sales solutions across multiple channels.
  • Has a strong desire to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Diploma/Graduate majoring in hospitality.
  • Can operate VHP system.
  • Good English both verbal and written.
  • Service excellence oriented.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skill.
  • Well groomed.
