We are looking for a senior, hands-on hospitality finance leader who can establish disciplined hotel accounting, turn numbers into useful management insight, and strengthen control across daily operations.
Reports to the General Manager, the Chief Accountant leads Finance & Accounting department.
The role
- Build a hotel-ready finance structure, including COA, cost centres and the reporting rhythm.
- Own month-end close, reconciliations, P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting.
- Strengthen revenue, cash, AP, AR, payroll, purchasing and approval controls.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and management performance analysis.
- Coordinate taxation, compliance, banking access and audit-ready financial records.
- Prepare investor profit-allocation schedules using approved share percentages and agreements.
How we'll measure success
- COA and cost-center structure is live.
- Opening balances and guest deposits are reconciled.
- The first month-end close produces reliable reports.
What we're looking for
- Strong hotel/resort accounting experience, ideally at Chief Accountant level.
- Experience setting up or restructuring a finance function, not only maintaining an existing one.
- Hands-on capability with COA, cost centers, accounting system and month-end closing.
- Strong financial control, analytical thinking and the ability to explain numbers clearly.
- High integrity, rigorous attention to detail and calm decision-making under pressure.
- Confident with modern accounting, spreadsheet and digital tools.

Qualification :
- Physically fit, mentally strong and spiritually inspired
- University degree with major study in Accountancy
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting and taxation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Knowledge of Gustodian PMS, MYOB & VHP Systems
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Well groomed with interpersonal and communication skill
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality
